First up is the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Mt. Shasta is a must-see for your Northern California camping trip. The volcano is the 5th tallest peak in California, and sports an array of activities for explorers to partake in. Hiking, backpacking, fishing, mountaineering, and mountain biking are only a few of the great things to do at this location! Since Mt. Shasta is part of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, you won’t want to miss out on the other activities in the area. Not all campgrounds in the park have full amenities, but with or without them in a Lost Campers campervan, you’ll be set for your trip! Our campervans come equipped with almost everything you’ll need to camp out. Check out our list of included amenities here!

Castle Crag has about 28 miles of hiking trails to trek, and even has areas to go fishing! The park sports 76 campgrounds, many of which have full amenities. The trails in this park are excellent for hikers of all skills- beginners to experienced! The National Forest is home to several botanical areas that are natural habitats for many rare and endangered plant species. This forest is only about a 6 hour drive from the Bay Area! A perfect place to start your adventure, or pass through as you’re headed back into town. Six Rivers has plenty of trails to hike, scenic routes to drive, and plenty of other activities to do while you unwind in the beautiful scenery. A Lost Campers campervan can provide the most convenient way to enjoy this gorgeous forest.
