If you see a good deal with us (and you always will!), be quick to confirm your reservation and lock in those great rates!
Lost Campers prides ourselves on ridiculously low prices. We are constantly checking our competitor’s rates to make sure we have the best deals on offer. Most importantly, if you can find a better rate, please let us know.
A few notes about our rates:
- All rates are plus 8.75% California State Tax for San Francisco pickups and 9.50% for Los Angeles pickups. No other taxes or surcharges. Yeehaa!
- Rates are discounted for rentals of 21-40 days and a further discount applies for rentals of 41 days or more. Please email if you plan on travelling for more than a few months.
- Rates are seasonal. Date ranges and prices are subject to change without prior notice, especially for popular weekends and holiday dates.
- Our rates are also higher for the week leading up to and over the Burning Man Festival at the end of August. We allow a few of our Vans to travel to this festival and due to the extreme conditions of the event location, extra cleaning fees will be incurred. There will also be special rental conditions involved. Email for details.
- Mileage – Mileage Rates include 100 free miles per day. Extra miles will be charged at 25c per mile. We have two packages that you can purchase.. An extra 100 miles a day can be purchased for $19 a day which gives you 200 miles a day. And an extra 200 miles a day can be purchased for $25 a day. Which will give 300 miles a day.
- Minimum rental period – 3 days in LOW and MID seasons and 5 days in HIGH (Please check with us regarding minimum rentals, exceptions may apply. May also be longer over busy periods).
- Maximum rental period – As long as you like! We’ve had many rent from us for months at a time. Special conditions apply.
- SFO Airport VIP package – Customer pickup or drop off airport service – $40 each way – includes up to 4 passengers. This service is not guaranteed, Depends on availability. Email or call for details.
- SF City Hotel VIP package – Customer pickup or drop off service between SF City Hotel and depot – $20 each way – incl. up to 4 passengers. (SF city and airport customer pickup and dropoff service may not be available at all times.)
- LAX Airport customer pickup and dropoff – $20 each way – service not always available or guaranteed. Cannot be pre-booked. Please call us upon arrival at airport and if a staff member is available they’ll happily come and get you. We currently do not offer a pickup or dropoff service for any other area in Los Angeles.
